On May 13, the Critical Refugees Studies Collective hosted a virtual reading and conversation with Jessica Goudeau, author of “After the Last Border: Two Families and the Story of Refuge in America.” The event included a welcome from Professor Khatharya Um, a reading from the novel by the author, and a conversation facilitated by Professor Nigel Hatton.
